Rubina Rahman, FRCOphth, FRCSEd
Surgical Retina and Cataracts
Ms Rahman has been a consultant at Yorkshire Eye Hospital since February 2003, where she enjoys working in an environment dedicated to ophthalmology. Ms Rahman has a special interest in the treatment of vitreo-retinal disease, including retinal detachment repair, macular hole surgery, epiretinal membrane peel and vitrectomy for complications of diabetic retinopathy.
Having trained at the Oxford Eye Hospital, Ms Rahman took the post of consultant ophthalmologist at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust in 2002 providing vitreo-retinal services to the Huddersfield, Halifax and surrounding areas
In her free time, Ms Rahman enjoys spending time with her family.

Ms Rahman has a substantive post at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust since 2002.
Published work
Ms Rahman has contributed to 11 research publications and has presented eight papers and six posters. Ms Rahman has also contributed to three videos on a variety of ophthalmic conditions, including combined cataract and vitreo-retinal surgery.
