Surgical Correction of vision without Laser treatment

About 50% of the population wears glasses or contact lenses to correct their sight. For one reason or another they are unhappy with their spectacles, or struggle with the daily problems of contact lens use.lens.

Although for many laser surgery can be used to correct their sight, there remains a group of patients who for one reason or another are unsuitable for this treatment.

New surgical advances now make it possible to help these patients in a way that has not been previously possible.

If you are very short-sighted (high myopia) or long-sighted (hypermetropia) or have astmigmatism, laser treatment may not be suitable for you. However, at Yorkshire Eye Hospital alternatives that may be more suitable are available.
