Ophthalmic nurses
All nurses that work at Yorkshire Eye Hospital have their RGN qualification. While some have gone on to study for further ophthalmic nursing qualifications, the whole nursing team at the Yorkshire Eye Hospital have a substantial amount of ophthalmic experience behind them.
One of our nurses has specialised in ophthalmology for thirty-two years, another for twenty-six years, and several others have over twelve years experience each.
Each nurse is multi skilled and can work in the outpatient and diagnostic department, in daycare, or in theatre.
